FIELD: organic chemistry, chemical technology. SUBSTANCE: tetrafluoroethylene or hexafluoropropylene is fluorinated with a mixture consisting of cobalt trifluoride and difluoride at continuous regime at 100-380 C. Concentration of cobalt trifluoride in mixture is maintained at the range 50-80 wt. -%. Content of basic substance in the synthesized product is 99.1-99.6%. Output of process is 1.9-6.5 l/h the parent perfluoroalkene/1 l reaction volume. The synthesized compounds can be used in chemical industry for production of coolant-166 and -218.
