FIELD: chemistry of glucosides. SUBSTANCE: the product: rutin (6-beta-L- ramnoside-D-glucoside-quercetin). Reaction conditions: dry above-ground amaranthus parts are extracted with 70- 95% lower alcohol on heating followed by treatment of the extract with ethyl acetate and recrystallization of the residue from water to obtain a high extraction degree (up to 85% ) and industrial applicability. EFFECT: more efficient process.
