FIELD: room acoustics. SUBSTANCE: method of forming an acoustic field in a listening hall comprises steps of receiving sound signals, converting them to electric signals with the aid of set of microphones, processing the electric signals in a processing unit and feeding the signals, had been processed, to loudspeakers. The sound signals are being processes in the processing unit according to a matrix relation, given in a description of the invention. The set of microphones is being mounted on a screen in a direct acoustic field from all loudspeakers; elements of the matrix in the form of Green function in Kirchhoff integral are being selected.
