FIELD: production of substitutes of sugar. SUBSTANCE: desired product is prepared by condensation of N-benzyl-oxycarbonyl-L-asparagine acid and methyl ether of L- or D,L-phenylalanine. The process is carried out in the presence of Bacillus megaterium. Reaction mixtures being prepared by treatment of L-asparagine acid by benzyloxycarbonyl chloride (said process is carried out in alkali medium) and containing up to 5 of unsubstituted L-asparagine acid and by etherification of L or D,L-phenylalanine by methyl alcohol and containing up to 5 of free Lor D,L-phenylalanine are directly used for said condensation. Yield of desired product is 95-96 EFFECT: simplifies the method, decreases cost of desired product.
