FIELD: acceleration equipment. SUBSTANCE: in compliance with proposed process injection of charged particles and change of their velocity are performed under action of permanent magnetic field created by system of current distribution with passing over calculated path determined by solving of system of equations. Device for change of velocity of charged particles realizing proposed process has vacuum chamber in the form of cylinder with butt walls made from material with high magnetic permeability. Channels for input and output of particles are made in center of butt wall of chamber in its side surface. Change of value of velocity of particles is conducted by field generated by solenoid which symmetry axis matches that of cylinder. Its use instead of traditional methods of acceleration with electrical field of permanent makes it possible to reduce linear dimensions and cost of accelerator by factor of 102-103.
