FIELD: car parking. SUBSTANCE: car is installed on lifting/descending installation member. One end of car body is hinged to the member. Once installation member has been lifted up to the height exceeding car height, another car end is lifted to the height exceeding height of the installed member. In so doing car body is turned around to change its position from lengthwise about the road to crosswise one. The parked cars are placed partially over sidewalk at a height exceeding one of a man, and partially over road, providing moving cars and trucks through narrow road, and car access to sidewalk edge to ensure short-term getting-on -off the passengers. EFFECT: increased throughput of narrow urban streets with large number of parked cars. 2 cl, 12 dwg
