FIELD: ironing. SUBSTANCE: front stop is made of a metal and positioned at a distance of 10-20 mm from the iron base. The bearing surface defined by the front and back stops is inclined to the plane of the base at 15-45°. The space between the ironing surface and the front stop at working position is 2-6 mm. The space between the ironing surface and the base at the non- operating position does not exceed 2 mm. The handle is positioned above the bow part of the base. The ratio of the width of the base to the length of the base dose not exceeds 1.2. The counterweight is constructed as a closed hollow casing filled with a metal.
