Abstract RU 2054725 C1

FIELD: electrical engineering. SUBSTANCE: invention refers to high-voltage switching gears. It is meant for provision of inspection of quality of insulation of pedestal insulators of SF6 gas switches by measurement to partial discharges by electric method with simultaneous control over mechanical strength of attachment of pedestal insulator to flange. With detection of flaw in pedestal insulator, for instance in the form of cavity filled with gas there are emerged partial discharges causing flow of pulse current through inherent capacitance of pedestal insulator, screen, flange and case to ground. On the other hand pulse current of partial discharge will also go to ground through capacitance of contacts of SF6 gas switch and main current-leading circuit. This current causes drop of voltage across jumpers between holes on to which ferromagnetic cores are put. This drop of voltage will be registered with the aid of wire and bushing insulator to which lead meter of partial discharges is connected.
