FIELD: sound and heat insulating refractory materials production. SUBSTANCE: method provides for production of mineral fiber by heating and melting of dispersion glass-forming material in rotating with speed of 4500 - 5000 rounds/min plasma reactor. In the case mass usage of dispersion material is set by 3 - 5 % higher, than mass usage of melt and temperature on inner surface of vessel is kept by 300 - 600 K higher then dispersion glass-forming material melting temperature. Method allows to transform process of glass boiling into thin film, that is being formed all over inner surface of capacity. This provides effect of aggregate productivity rising and fiber quality improving with simultaneous meeting ecological requirements.
