FIELD: flaw detection. SUBSTANCE: invention relates to detection of flaws and to inspection of leak-proofness of pipe-line by signals of acoustic emission. Pipe-line with flowing liquid is subjected to pulse load by shutting part of flow of liquid at end of inspected section for specified time, signals of acoustic emission are received with the aid of piezoconverters. Inclination angle of curve of dependence of summary reading on time is used as parameter by which type of flaw is judged. EFFECT: enhanced authenticity of method. 4 dwg
