FIELD: mechanical engineering; transport drives. SUBSTANCE: rotary blade engine has housing 1 with cylindrical inner surface and radial partitions arranged equidistantly over circumference. Rotor 3 with radial blades in installed in housing for oscillating about its axis. Rotor is installed coaxially with housing and its blades are sealed relative to inner surface of housing. Blades and partitions limit working chamber "a" and delivery chambers °. Secured on end face of housing is intake manifold formed by wall 5 and wall 6. Ports are made in walls to let fuel mixture pass to delivery chambers. Made in walls 5 are bypass channels placing working and delivery chambers in communication. Ports of wall 5 open into circular channel 7 and into channel in housing cover. Exhaust manifold is formed by walls 9, 10. Made in wall 9 are ports 11, and in wall 10, circular channel 12 and ports 13 to let out exhaust gases. Engine shaft is formed by coaxial outer tubular section 14 and inner section 15. Outer end of section 14 is arranged beyond the limits of housing, and its inner end is provided with holder 16. This holder engages with rotor 3 through first overrunning clutch formed by segments installed diametrically and mounted for movement by their flat surface along mated flat surface of rotor, and blocks 18 engaging through their outer surfaces with holder 16, and inner surfaces, with curvilinear surfaces of segments. Outer end of inner section 15 projects beyond the limits of outer section. Inner end of section lies within the limits of housing and it has holder 19 installed inside holder 16 of outer section for engagement with rotor 3 through second overrunning clutch. The latter is formed by segments mounted on rotor similar to those of first clutch and blocks 21 engaging with segments and holder 19 similar to those of first clutch. Segments are displaced relative to each other through distance "1" and are made as single part. EFFECT: enlarged operating capabilities. 2 cl, 4 dwg
