SUBSTANCE: chitan of cuticle shells is ground to particle size of 0.2-0.3 mm, treated with 40% caustic alkali solution at 100-110 C and liquid modulus of 1:20 for 3- 3.5 h and is simultaneously subjected to ultrasound treatment at frequency of 15-35 kHz. EFFECT: more efficient preparation process.
