SUBSTANCE: invention relates to food industry. Application of the natural composition of biologically active substances which is produced from shell-containing raw materials of shellfishes taken at development stages preceding their peeling as a product for nutrition or fodder for vertebral organism species including the human. The composition contains finely ground shell-containing substances wherein properties of biologically active components (such as astaxanthin carotenoid) are preserved due to compliance of the conditions of its production and storage to physical-and-chemical properties of the said component.
EFFECT: invention ensures the organism physiological indices improvement.
