FIELD: devices where heat exchange between two media takes place. SUBSTANCE: main pipe with outer fins and additional pipe for supply of cooling heat-transfer agent are coaxially arranged in shell of heat exchanger, forming chamber between shell and additional pipe. Inner diameter of additional pipe is equal to outer diameter of finning. Heat-transfer agent to be cooled enters the chamber formed between main and additional pipes flowing over fins, thus giving off the heat, after which it escapes from heat exchanger. Cooling heat-transfer agent enters main pipe and then flows to chamber between additional pipe and shell of heat exchanger, after which it escape from heat exchanger.
