FIELD: connecting members, such as bolts, rivets, dowel pins etc. SUBSTANCE: ultrasonic load indicator is part deformable under action of load; one surface of part is one of electrodes on which ultrasonic transducer is located. Acoustoelectric film placed between two electrodes may be grown on first or on second electrode by different methods, for example by precipitation from gas phase, magnetron sputtering, etc. Acoustoelectric film and second electrode may be made from different materials and may have various sizes according to versions described. Load indicator may be provided with additional surface which reflects ultrasonic waves to transducer. Load indicator may be also provided with electronic control device, electron signal tracking device and device for applying torque to part. Method of manufacture of ultrasonic load indicator stipulates the method of obtaining of acoustoelectric film on one of electrodes and manufacture of part deformable under load.
