FIELD: medicine.

SUBSTANCE: method of determining decoding of received signals in a medical device for ultrasonic imaging of an organism is carried out using a device. Medical device for ultrasound imaging comprises an elongated body, an electrical insulator, a plurality of sensors and a single electric path. Electric insulator is placed on top of elongated body and has multiple breaks along its length. Sensors are conformally arranged on the elongated body in a plurality of longitudinal positions along the elongated body and are configured to generate signals in accordance with the detected energy for the imaging system. Each sensor is located in corresponding one of said breaks and includes in matrix of sensors along elongated body. Electric track is connected to each of the plurality of sensors. Method comprises providing a medical device, generating signals in a certain position with a visualization system, receiving signals by said plurality of sensors and separating signals received by said plurality of sensors by using variable intervals between sensors of said plurality and their geometric positions to determine which sensor has received which signals.

EFFECT: providing an apparatus and a method of determining decoding of received signals in a medical device for ultrasonic imaging of an organism using ultrasonic sensors connected in parallel using a single track and do not interfere with the functioning of the device.
