FIELD: agriculture and food-processing industry, as well as wood-working and other branches of industry. SUBSTANCE: drying unit has working chamber, charging and discharge devices, microwave emitter and drying agent inlet device. Side walls of working chamber are made conical. Drying agent, introduced into lower part of working chamber tangentially to side walls, together with energy supplied from above provide for separation of dried product by swirling flow and removal of separated dried product through openings in upper part of working chamber. General character of unit is provided by charging table mounted on shaft of charging auger-type mechanism positioned on working chamber bottom. EFFECT: increased efficiency, wider operational capabilities and enhanced reliability in operation. 1 dwg
