FIELD: virology, biotechnology, vaccines. SUBSTANCE: invention relates to preparing the strain-producer of human hepatitis B virus M-protein derivative. Strain has recombinant plasmid YEP 63/AB determining synthesis of hepatitis virus B M-protein derivative in transformed cells. Synthesizing protien is assembled to particles that are similar with natural virus particles with size 22 nm. The level of synthesis of M-protein derivative is 0.5-1% of total cellular protein. New strain-producer can be used for industrial production of human hepatitis B M-protein derivative. Derivative of M-protein can be used for diagnosis and prophylaxis of diseases caused by human hepatitis B virus. EFFECT: new yeast strain. 6 dwg
