SUBSTANCE: method involves transformation of the strain of yeast p4-1-GRF18 with recombinant plasmid DNA constructed in vitro and containing encoding moiety of human beta-interferon gene (with exception of region encoding signal peptide) and the strain p4-1-GRF18(pHBI) is obtained that is a producer of human fibroblast interferon. The prepared strain of yeast Saccharomyces cerevisiae p4-1-GRF18(pHBI) is deposited in All- Russian collection of industrial microorganisms at number VKPM-Y-2286.
