FIELD: honeycomb members. SUBSTANCE: fluid medium passes along the axis of honeycomb member to bypass many channels. Honeycomb member has, at least, two disks spaced at some distance between each other located successively along the axis and having channels. There is, at least one bracket near the axis. With the help of the bracket, disks are interconnected and rest on each other. First disk is made to be quickly heated with passing waste gas, or due to conducted current. Mechanical strength of the member is guaranteed by respective make of the second disk and bracket. Honeycomb member is especially useful in capacity of carrier of catalyst in the system of exhaust gases discharge in internal combustion engines, for instance, in automobiles.
