FIELD: wind-power engineering. SUBSTANCE: wind-power plant has windwheels inclined to horizontal surface and provided with blades free to rotate in arbitrary direction. Each windwheel is joined to common transmission shaft through opposing overrunning clutches Both clutches set in rotary motion by windwheel but one of them is coupled through idle gear and rotates in opposite direction. Torque is transmitted to shaft from clutch rotating unidirectionally with it and at speed not lower than that of shaft. EFFECT: provision for summing up power capacities of separate windwheels. 3 dwg
