Abstract RU 2089924 C1

FIELD: radiolocation, sonar, scanning of space and determination of spatial coordinates of distant objects. SUBSTANCE: proposed method of space scanning consists in radiation of probing signal into some region with the aid of sending antenna and in reception of eacho signals by set of N spatial channels by means of receiving antenna. Pulse of low relative duration is used as probing signal. Uninterrupted scanning by radiation patterns of sending and receiving antennas by laws set in advance such that at any unspecified time moment directions of maxima of radiation patterns of mentioned antenna do not match in space is carried out during radiation and reception. In this case in each nth(n=1,...N) spatial reception channel moments t of maxima of eacho signals are recorded and after this distance and angular coordinates of object, which maximum of echo signal is registered in nth spatial reception channel at time moment t are determined proceeding from specified scanning laws.
