SUBSTANCE: display panel has n-1 display discharge gaps formed by address and common display electrodes in each display area for n ≥ 3 number of electrodes; each display area has control discharge gap formed by control and address display electrodes; geometry of all mentioned gaps and gas filling are specified so as to ensure reversing surface discharge in display area. Brightness of display panel is 1.5 times higher than that of known design at comparable power requirement.
