FIELD: manufacture of engines. SUBSTANCE: intake system includes intake pipe 2 whose one end is connected to air cleaner 3 and other end is connected to receiver 4 whose side wall is provided with intake branch pipes 6 thru 9 connected respectively to cylinders 10 thru 13 of engine 1 and electric heater 14 which is made in form of pipe union mounted inside receiver 4 coaxially to its cavity. This pipe union has form of elongated cylinder bounded by end walls 16 and 17 to which terminals 18 and 19 of power supply source 15 are connected. Pipe union is made from gastight material absorbing pulsations and sound and possessing high ohmic resistance. Provision is made for various version of manufacture of pipe union 14.
