FIELD: sanitary and hygienic articles. SUBSTANCE: diaper or other absorbing article has a succession of layers ranging from surface adjoining user's body to lower layer: upper structure containing moisture receiving layer 3 formed by first fibrous material free of superabsorbing substance, and superabsorbing layer 5 containing first superabsorbing material with gel layer having permeability coefficient of at least 4x10^-7 cu.cms/g and presented in an amount of from 20 g/sq.m to 320 g/sq.m, and moisture storage structure containing second superabsorbing material having absorption coefficient of at least 15 g/g, when pressure of 50 g/sq.m is applied to it. Moisture storage structure has upper moisture storage layer 6 and lower moisture storage layer 7 containing at least 70% by weight of full amount of second absorbing material, which is present in upper and lower moisture storage layers. Thickness of layer 7 is equal to or less than thickness of upper moisture storage layer 6. Certain combination of layers of superabsorbing materials having different absorption rates may be introduced into certain structure of insert and arranged so that diaper with maximum extent of receiving, storage and retention of released moisture and minimum thickness of absorbing insert may be produced.
