FIELD: production of permanent joints by light-beam spot heating BRAZING or welding. SUBSTANCE: device uses a reflector located in a cooled jacket. Electrodes (cathode and anode) are positioned inside the reflector. The device has an electrode firing system. To this end, it is furnished with an additional anode made in the form of a nozzle, in which a cathode is installed for movement. The nozzle is placed in a cooled casing, having a duct for supplying the plasma-generating gas. At the end the reflector is closed with a transparent screen. EFFECT: improved design. 8 cl, 2 dwg
