FIELD: magnetic treatment of liquids. SUBSTANCE: invention aims at ensuring effective treatment of liquids with liquid stream velocities varying over a wide velocity range by way of creating long and continuous magnet system and simultaneously simplifying this system. Apparatus has ferromagnetic casing, elongated frame in the form of hollow coil installed inside casing to form an annulus, and magnet system containing constant magnets. Side walls of casing bear through cuts and there are longitudinal deepenings on its outer surface. In each cut and deepening, elongated thin-wall elastic casing is installed enclosing magnets established therein without gaps. Magnets face operating clearance by analogous poles. Casing and magnets form a module. To assemble apparatus, one preliminarily takes elongated thin-wall elastic casing and pushes into it each magnet chock-a-block with non-working end surface forwards. Before next magnet is installed, previous one is rigidly fixed in casing which operation is terminated after the next magnet is rigidly fixed. The thus formed module is then tightly installed into annulus of apparatus. EFFECT: improved design of apparatus and enhanced efficiency of magnet treatment. 2 cl, 3 dwg, 1 tbl
