FIELD: fish farming; monitoring of inland fish farming ponds. SUBSTANCE: system of cells filled with synthetic sorbent is immersed into water basin. Sorbent possesses high absorptive capacity to heavy metals ions. Sorbent fills at least two cells. In order to carry out analysis for heavy metals ions concentration, one cell is taken to surface from water and portion of sorbent is taken for analysis, while remaining portion of same sorbent with heavy metals accumulated therein is stored in native condition to use as reference sample.
