FIELD: power engineering. SUBSTANCE: power transmission line is provided with deicing installation that has container/water repeller/cleaner assembly tightly fitted to conductor and provided with axial hole, locating slot, and holes in side walls for mechanical breaking and removal of atmospheric ice deposited on conductor, and two relatively perpendicular blades fixed relative to container/water repeller/cleaner assembly; one of blades provides for displacement of container over conductor from one end of line span to other when wind changes its direction; other blade mounted in plane longitudinal to conductor with offset center of gravity, like in pendulum, sets container in vibratory motion due to interaction of two forces, that is, aerodynamic force deflecting blade from equilibrium position at strong wind and gravity force of blade tending to return blade to initial position as wind drops. EFFECT: improved design. 1 dwg
