FIELD: metallurgy. SUBSTANCE: method involves supply of base metal into space between faces of mold with core installed in mold; introduction along core of additional metal more low-melting than the base metal; combined solidification of metals; calibration of surface of hollow bimetallic blank and is drawing. Additional metal is introduced in the form of two bands. Pairs of vertical faces of mold is given reciprocating motion and opposite pair of inclined faces is given rotary motion, and squeezing of introduced bands and base metal on core is effected. Quantity of base metal is 2.5-40% and additional metal of 60-97.5% of total mass of produced bimetallic blank. EFFECT: higher productivity and resources saving process. 2 dwg
