FIELD: methods of analysis of multicomponent elixirs, balsams, tinctures and other dosage forms based on vegetable raw materials. SUBSTANCE: method includes extraction of volatile substances by distillation of initial sample with steam and their subsequent determination by gas-liquid chromatography. After extraction of volatile substances they are concentrated by their extraction with organic solvent with boiling temperature not in excess of 60 C, for instance, with diethyl ether, with subsequent dewatering with the help of chemical agent and its boiling down at temperature not above 70 C up to discontinuation of solvent vapor distillation. Concentration of volatile substances is carried out up to reduction of volume of final concentrate relative to volume of initial sample by at least 1000 times. EFFECT: higher efficiency. 2 cl
