FIELD: metallurgy, namely, process for making rolled bars of continuously cast billets. SUBSTANCE: method comprises steps of continuously casting block of square billets mutually joined by diagonal bridges, cutting it by measured lengths, heating and separating to billets, rolling them. Continuously cast block has surface area of its cross section consisting 15-60 cross section areas of ready rolled bar and ratio of bridge thickness to thickness of block equal to 0.1-0.5. Billets are heated before block separation and block is separated to billets at rolling for combining in time steps of casting, heating, block separation and rolling. EFFECT: enhanced quality of rolled bars, lowered energy consumption and investment.
