FIELD: fire protection. SUBSTANCE: device contains charge installed within casing in special relation to it with ratio of clearance area to that of outside surface of charge from 1:40 to 1:15. Between the charge and outlet ports, regenerative heat exchanger is mounted in the form of parabolic spiral with gauzes on the two ends. As materials for spiral and gauzes, metals with melting point higher than temperature of charge combustion products. Charge is made up, wt.-%: potassium nitrate, 63-71; dicyandiamide, 14-25; phenol-formaldehyde resin, 5-12; and potassium bicarbonate, sodium bicarbonate, or ammonium oxalate, 3-7. Casing is provided with housing having nozzle-type cover and coaxially enclosed into casing to redirect combustion products' flow by 180 deg. and release it through slit clearance between casing and housing and nozzle ports peripherally arranged on cover.
