FIELD: manufacture of catalytic neutralizers of exhaust gases of transport vehicles. SUBSTANCE: metallic honeycomb member is formed by layers of coiled (S-like coiled or packed) at least partially structured metallic sheets. Method comprises steps of applying rolling lubricant oil at least onto structured metallic sheets if it was not applied before at process of making such sheets; heating member for partially removing easy volatile components of oil; applying powder solder on honeycomb member made of metallic sheets; holding solder on metallic sheets due to its sticking to rolling lubricant oil, particularly near contact lines of metallic sheets; soldering honeycomb member in vacuum or in shield-gas atmosphere in high-temperature soldering furnace.
