DEVICE FOR DELIVERING HARDENING MATERIAL BEHIND PROGRESSIVE SHUTTERING IN SUPPORTING MINE WORKINGS Russian patent published in 1997 - IPC

FIELD: mining industry. SUBSTANCE: device has pump 1, pipeline 2 for delivery of hardening material, nozzle 3 made in the form of hollow cylinder and shut-off member 4. Member 4 is made in the form of spring-loaded hollow cylinder with closed end 5 at side turned to space 6 behind shuttering. Through holes 7 are made in cylindrical part of shut-off member 4 near closed end 5. Shut-off member 4 is movable relative to guide bush 8 attached to shuttering 9 and also movable relative to nozzle 3. Nozzle 3 is stationary connected with guide bush 8 through intermediate connecting member 10. Closed end 5 of shut-off member 4 is installed flush with surface 11 of shuttering 9 at side of space 6 being filled with hardening material. Device is adapted for automatic closing of shut-off member 4 after delivery of preset batch of hardening material progressive shuttering 9 and also for displacement of shuttering 9 because at moment of its displacement feed part of shut-off member 4 is located at one level with surface 11 of shuttering 9.
