FIELD: environment control; cleaning water reservoirs from radioactive and toxic wastes stored in bottom-immersed packing containers disintegrated with time and their re-storage. SUBSTANCE: torus container is made on floating platform by assembling prefabricated annular reinforced-concrete members with joints between members sealed by cast-in-situ stressing concrete. Platform carrying torus container placed without clamping annular ring is conveyed to waste location site submerged into bottom with open clamping part of torus positioned against wastes and fixed in position, wasters are gripped and charged by means of gripping device. After torus is filled up, it is raised to surface. Then annular member of torus is sealed with cast-in-situ stressing concrete. Platform with wastes packed in torus container is conveyed to new storage site. Platform is slightly immersed in water and taken from under torus container; the is gradually submerged by gravity in horizontal position onto bottom; procedure is repeated until bottom modular storage structure is formed. EFFECT: facilitated procedure. 4 cl
