FIELD: preventing radioactive contamination of water area around nuclear power plants. SUBSTANCE: empty spatially pre-stressed torus containers are conveyed by floating over water surface to floating nuclear power plant whose bottom incorporates vertical guides mounted to fit design height of waste storage. Torus containers are immersed in turn over vertical guides by admitting ballast water to their interior. Top container is charged upon its levitation opposite to charging device of plant. To this end, ballast water is discharged from container. Charged torus container is pressurized and conveyed over water surface to disposal site by means of convoy pontoon.
