Abstract RU 2098901 C1

FIELD: electrical equipment for internal-combustion engines. SUBSTANCE: shell has body 1 made of insulating material that houses contacts 2,3 for connecting high-voltage conductor and central electrode of plug 4, metal screen 5 around body, auxiliary spark gap 6 inserted between contacts 2 and 3, and high-voltage storage capacitor 7. Spark gas 6 has at least three electrodes 8,9,10 separated by shell-type insulating spacer 11, 12 having holes 13, 14 in their bottoms which form spark gaps. One plate of capacitor 7 is formed by screen 5 and other one, by extreme electrode 8 of spark gap. Shell may be provided with additional capacitor 19 and step-up transformer 20 whose primary winding 21 is connected between spark gas 6 and additional capacitor 19 and its secondary winding is connected to contact 3 for connecting to central electrode of spark plug.
