Abstract RU 2100849 C1

FIELD: nuclear fusion engineering; experimental studies of high-temperature plasma. SUBSTANCE: reactor has ion and electron sources with accelerators arranged at reactor ends to form working vacuum volume around blanket with coolant and magnetic system. Ion and electron accelerators are arranged so that charged particles are accelerated and further displaced along lines of force of magnetic field with minimal intensity in central part of working volume. Magnetic field is built up within working volume by means of magnetic coil and additional current-carrying turns installed outside coil in insulator. Ion and electron sources with accelerators-neutralizers produce quasi-neutral plasma beam directed to center of working volume and may be staggered or arranged on coaxial circumferences.
