FIELD: technology for forming stable states of dense high temperature plasma, which can be used, for example, for controlled thermo-nuclear synthesis.
SUBSTANCE: forming method includes forming dense high temperature plasma by means of pulse strong-current discharges forming a magnetic field, injection of plasma from magnetic field area with following parameters: plasma density 1023-1025 m-3 and temperature 107 - 108 K, while during forming of stable plasma states two-component gas is utilized consisting of hydrogen (or its isotopes) and inert gas or of hydrogen and carbon with ratio of component 80% and 20% respectively, and source pressure of two-component gas is 0,5-0,8 mm of mercury column.
EFFECT: possible forming and preservation of dense high temperature plasma during time, necessary for reactions of nuclear synthesis.
