SUBSTANCE: the offered method includes melting, homogenization, teeming into pattern or mold, cooling of liquid metal in temperature intervals of phase conversion of cast metal intermittently with alternation of periods of intense heat removal with periods of heating. In this case, number of the COOLING-HEATING pulses shall be, at least, three. Intensive cooling is carried out with temperature gradients varying in time and/or by article section and/or by its length. Pulsing cooling is effected on units of continuous casting in zones of secondary cooling, and also in zones of secondary cooling after metal passing the continuous casting unit. EFFECT: provision of stable production of ingots from alloys with lower casting properties and attaining maximum structural and chemical homogeneity of cast metal. 3 cl, 3 tbl
