FIELD: analytical chemistry. SUBSTANCE: method involves liquid-liquid extraction of an oil sample with alcohol-ether solution at ratio = (1:1)-(1: 2) to sample mass followed by acid treatment by addition of 1.5-3.0 ml 10 N sulfuric acid solution in obtained miscella. Heating is carried out at 20-50 C for 30-90 s. Method can be used for technochemical control in fat and oil industry. EFFECT: improved method of analysis. 1 tbl
