FIELD: mechanical engineering in machining of workpieces by flap wheels. SUBSTANCE: roughing and finishing of difficult-to-machine materials are effected successively by one flap wheel with flexibly installed extending finish packs of flaps coated with lubricating-cooling process medium alternating in circular direction with roughing packs of flaps of high rigidity and coated with bakelite lacquer. Rotation speed is increased in finishing and determined by the formula given in the invention description. EFFECT: increased productivity.
