FIELD: mechanical engineering. SUBSTANCE: this can be used in mechanical engineering for rough and final abrasive treatment of machinery parts. For better quality of surface, rough and final treatment are performed subsequently by one tab-type abrasive wheel with alternating in circular direction rigidly fastened roughing and resiliently installed extending finishing sets of tabs at constant rotation speed of tool. Finishing tabs of sets are extended by increasing pressure of lubricating and cooling technological medium and its pressure-forced delivery to treating zone through passages in abrasive wheel body. This ensures favorable conditions for contact of surfaces in cutting zone resulted in improved quality characteristics. EFFECT: high efficiency. 2 dwg
