FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to medicine, namely, to ophthalmology, and can be used for treating patients with an acute attack of angle-closure glaucoma. For this purpose, on the first day, against the background of provided local and systemic hypotensive therapy, a coloboma of the iris is performed using a YAG laser with a wavelength of 1,064 nm, a power of 3 to 4 mJ in 8 to 10 single pulses. On the second day, cyclophotocoagulation is performed in micro-pulse mode on a diode laser with a wavelength of 810 nm with a working cycle of 25%, a pulse duration of 0.5 ms, a period of 1.5 ms, a power of 2,000 mW. The exposure is first performed in the upper hemisphere of the eyeball. The probe is placed on the surface of the conjunctiva 3 to 4 mm from the limb and the probe is moved in an arc concentrically to the limb with a length of 170° from 2 o'clock to 10 o'clock and back for 80 seconds without lifting the probe from the conjunctiva. The exposure is then performed similarly in the lower hemisphere of the eyeball from 4 o'clock to 8 o'clock and back.
EFFECT: invention ensures trauma-free relief of an acute attack of angle-closure glaucoma, a persistent reduction in the level of intraocular pressure, relief of pain syndrome, relief of corneal oedema, increase in the visual acuity due to multidirectional impact mechanisms with minimal consumption of laser energy.
