FIELD: organic chemistry and technology, rubber industry. SUBSTANCE: process is carried out in toluene containing water at amount (0.5-3.0) x 10-3 wt. -% at 0-50 C in the presence of catalytic system at concentration 0.02-0.15 mmole/l charge. Catalytic system is a complex formed at (-30)-(+30) C by addition diene to hydrocarbon solvent. Diene is taken from the group involving butadiene-1,3, isoprene, pentadiene-1,3. Cobalt compounds - octoate, 2-ethylhexoate, naphthenate, salt of C10-C12-saturated acids, alkylaluminium chlorides of the formula R2AlCl and R3Al2Cl3 where R - hydrocarbon radical iso-butyl, ethyl, compounds taken from the group involving N-methyl-α-pyrrolidone, alkylalumoxanes of the formula where n = 2-20 at molar ratio of cobalt compound : diene : alkylaluminium chloride : addition at the range from 1:3:10:2 to 1: 10: 80: 30. Complex is kept for at least 30 min. Method ensures to obtain rubber of the controlled branching, increased homogeneity of ready production.
