FIELD: mechanical engineering. SUBSTANCE: platform with object under test positioned loosely on it is accelerated till it collides with braking device, and object is braked by second braking device. The latter is positioned between object and platform. Method enable increase in amplitude and rate of pulse rise due to installation of object relative to second braking device with clearance to be selected from relation δ = K•v20
