FIELD: medicinal industry, virology. SUBSTANCE: invention relates to preparing virus-inductor used for production of human leukocyte interferon. Virus-inductor is prepared by administration of Newcastle disease virus, strain "H", in chicken embryo allantois cavity at concentration $$$ $$$/50 ml. Embryos are incubated at 37 $$$ 0.5 C for 48 h, cooled to 4 C and allantois fluid is removed. Obtained virus-inductor does not show cytopathic effect on leukocytes and exhibits the enhanced interferon-inducing capability. EFFECT: improved method of preparing. 1 tbl
