SUBSTANCE: method and device for its realization make it possible to form information on value of level of checked liquid medium not in the form of sequence of count pulses which frequency of repetition may not correspond to value of rate of propagation of probing pulse but in the form of two sequences of acoustic signals on which instability rate of propagation of probing pulse does not influence.
