FIELD: instrumentation, control over parameters of liquid media including dairy media. SUBSTANCE: automatic refractometer includes lighting and measurement prisms, two illuminators, two light detectors, optically transparent dish located between one illuminator and first light detector and device processing signals. Second light detector is positioned at output of signal from measurement prism. Device processing signals is fitted with indicator. Signals from two light detectors go to device processing them. Signal of first light detector is entered in the form of correction to value of signal of second light detector to remove influence of diffusion of light in liquid on readings of refractometer. EFFECT: high accuracy of measurement of refractive index during test of liquid media. 2 dwg
